Who we are

Behavior Tracker is operated by Dynamic Zs ("we", "us"). Dynamic Zs is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at behavior.tracker.edu@gmail.com.

What data we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and login credentials.
  • Classroom data you enter: class names, student names you add to your rosters, and the behavior records you log.
  • Support messages: anything you send us through forms or email.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser and device information, and basic usage telemetry.

Why we use it

  • To create and manage your account (performance of our contract with you).
  • To provide the behavior logging service and store your records.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To respond to support requests (performance of contract).
  • To improve the product (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and operate the app (hosting, database, email).
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing. Payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account and classroom data while your account is active. When data is no longer needed — for example after you delete your account — we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email behavior.tracker.edu@gmail.com. We respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data. You can export your records as CSV at any time from inside the app.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and make the service work. We do not use marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
